James Klopfenstein
I was born and raised in So. California. I received my BS degree in engineering from Cal Poly in Pomona, CA. I met and married Cindy in 1982 and then spent a year in Portland, OR at Multnomah School of the Bible. After a year of internship, I spent three years in Aruba doing missionary radio and serving the Arubans any way I could, mostly in the local church as a youth pastor. After Aruba, I spent 7 years working with Moody Radio in Michigan before moving back to California to spend 5 great years living near my extended family. I worked as a radio studio designer and enjoyed being in the secular community and talking with unbelievers about the Lord. In 2002, God moved me and my family to Colorado where I have been working with Focus on the Family as a broadcast engineer. Cindy and I have four children, one married son, one college age son, one college age daughter, and one in high school son. I enjoy hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter and spending time with the younger crowd whenever I can!
