High School Juniors or Seniors Internship

Purpose: Serve formally and consistently in the middle school ministry and receive training
Dates: August 17th 2007- June 1st 2008
Supervisor:  Alan Briggs

Qualifications

-REAL relationship with Jesus Christ
-Desire to serve middle school students
-Teachable heart and desire to learn
-Completed application and acceptance into the program
-Completed background check

Responsibilities

-Presence at monthly middle school leader meetings (Sunday mornings)
-Co-lead a middle school mentor group
-At least one hour of outside contact with middle school students each week
-A bi-weekly check in meeting with Alan
-Participation in the Winter Retreat
-End of internship summary and evaluation
-Participation in the high school leadership team
-Attendance at monthly student leader meetings (can miss 2)
