High School Graduate Internship

Purpose: Test Skills and desire for middle school ministry
Dates: August 17th 2007- June 1st 2008
Supervisor:  Jeremy Hands

Qualifications

-REAL relationship with Jesus Christ
-Desire to serve middle school students
-Teachable heart and desire to learn
-Completed application and acceptance into the program
-Completed background check

Responsibilities

-Presence at monthly middle school leader meetings
-Co-lead a middle school mentor group
-Presence at all Wednesday night and Sunday morning middle school gatherings
-At least one hour of contact with middle school students each week
-Participation in spring break weekend mission trip
-Participation in the Winter Retreat
-A bi-weekly check in meeting with Jeremy
-Read through the selected book throughout the year
-Teach one Sunday morning lesson
-Help plan one big event throughout the year
-End of internship summary and evaluation
